foreword

1992 He learned from Mr. Sun Shizhen Song, a master of Neijia Boxing, Tai Ji Chuan Pushing Hands, and was able to point out the way of eight diagrams in form and meaning. After practicing martial arts for 30 years, on the basis of inheriting and summarizing what I have learned, I have formed a unique teaching method and style.

With the encouragement of Mr. Zhang Yongchun, a good friend of the League, he got a general understanding of Mr. Zhang Gongzhan Kui's Bagua Palm, so he recorded what he had learned. It's just a kind of inheritance, not my invention, so it's just a work of "talking without doing". Due to the lack of depth in the study of "Zhang Baguazhang", it is inevitable that there are shortcomings. I hope experts at home and abroad will criticize and correct me.

Whether practicing boxing or learning another skill or art, you must know the second place first. If you start from college, you will definitely feel like a "Chun Xue" and a "castle in the air" for beginners. This booklet discusses the theory of boxing and boxing, and tries not to quote or quote terms such as theory, image, number, yin and yang, five elements and gossip that are rarely contacted in modern society, especially terms that are difficult for young people to understand. I try to use the most popular language and the simplest metaphor of "Xialiba" to explain the most basic and elementary things of Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm in a simple way, which is beneficial to beginners. Popularity and simplicity are not necessarily low-level, which is also the simple principle of Yijing.

The action of photos is also done according to the requirements of beginners to "set rules", just like regular script in calligraphy for beginners to copy. I hope this booklet will be helpful to friends and beginners who like Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm.

As for the flexible approach, the approach of combining rigidity with softness is mentioned in this book, but it is not deeply involved. Let's talk about it again in Zhang Zhankui Bagua Palm to Tell the Truth. I don't think Que Ning should be chaotic, so as not to be unclear, but to add trouble to beginners. As for long soldiers and short soldiers, they are not included in this book, but they are also discussed slightly, which will be recorded later.

The first chapter is an introduction to Zhang Zhankui's Bagua Palm.

The first section is the origin and development of Zhang Zhankui Xingyi Bagua Palm.

Baguazhang is a traditional martial art with precise method, unique style and its own system. It has been more than 100 years since Mr. Dong Haichuan created the Bagua Palm in the late Qing Dynasty.

I don't know when the earliest source of Bagua Palm was. Because Dong Gong didn't talk about the specific origin and inheritance of this kind of boxing, and there is no detailed historical data, there have been different opinions and it is unknown. I think it should be compiled by the East Palace on the basis of practicing and learning a lot of martial arts schools and according to my own years of experience.

Baguazhang got its name from the Book of Changes, and Dong Haichuan's reasoning method of Baguazhang also came from the Book of Changes. In the preface to the Eight Diagrams Boxing, Mr. Sun Lutang's first sentence is: "Easy to use, broad and subtle, from the sage inside to the king outside, there are countless names and images, without exception." And the skills of self-cultivation are particularly detailed. "Therefore, Yi Li is the principle of boxing.

Since Dong Gong created the Eight Diagrams Palm in Beijing, "thousands of people, from top to top, to craftsmen and dignitaries, each performed a skill", and a number of famous artists such as Yin Fu, Ma Weiqi, Cheng, Fan Zhiyong, Liang Zhenpu,,, and Liu Dekuan emerged.

China Wushu tends to develop vertically, with little horizontal communication. Since Mr. Dong Haichuan communicated with Mr. Liu and Mr. Guo, he initiated the communication between Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm. Since then, there has been a saying that Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm are one. It is precisely because of the broad mind of these modern martial arts masters that the horizontal communication of martial arts has been opened, making martial arts more perfect. It is under the guidance of this idea that through the great exchange and integration of process, Mr. and Mr.. Mr. Li Cunyi and Mr. Zhang Zhankui began to combine Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm into one, which is the initial practice of "two fists in one". Therefore, some people call the Eight Diagrams Palm taught by Mr. Zhang Zhankui "the Eight Diagrams Palm in Form and Meaning".

Generally speaking, Zhang Zhankui's Bagua Palm is a kind of Tao and a kind of philosophy. In a small way, he is an art and a skill. It not only has a rich theoretical basis, but also has specific operational methods. It is a high degree of integration and unity of "Xingyiquan Qizheng" and "Bagua Palm Vertical and Horizontal"; He is the perfect combination of theory and practice; He is one of the practical representatives of "two fists in one" in the eight diagrams of form and meaning. Since Mr. Zhang Zhankui, famous artists have come forth in large numbers, with more than 3,000 disciples. Celebrities such as, Chiang Kai-shek, Wang Junchen, Zhao Daoxin, Qiu, Zhang Yuan Zhai (Zi),,,,,, and so on are all dragons and phoenixes among people. Disciples and grandchildren spread from Beijing and Tianjin (,Zhao Daoxin, Qiu) to the sea (Jiang), Shanxi (Wang Junchen), Qilu (Zhu De and Sun), Jiangsu (Qian), Yunnan (Sha), Taiwan Province Province (Wang Shujin), and even to the whole country and even to Japan and other parts of the world. In particular, Mr. Jiang's book Baguazhang is concise and has a circulation of tens of millions, which has contributed to the promotion of Baguazhang.

In the second quarter, the characteristics of Zhang Zhankui Xingyiquan Bagua Palm.

Due to Dong Gong's "each has his own art", each school with its own characteristics has been formed. For example, Mr. Yin Fu first practiced arhat boxing and bounced his legs, so he formed a palm shape: a cow's tongue palm. Characteristics of pace: small steps and quick steps, casual pace, quick and flexible, and good use of leg method. Strength: cold, crisp, fast, hard, easy to wear, but still straight. Posture: concise and flexible. Because Mr. Cheng only learned wrestling, he combined soft and fast wrestling with the hitting methods taught by Dong Gong, so he formed the palm shape: dragon claw palm. Characteristics of pace: big and heavy steps, swaying and twisting, and making good use of hidden legs. Strength: loose, soft, heavy, good at splitting, but still horizontal. Posture: Flexible as Youlong.

Mr. Zhang first learned Xingyiquan from Mr. Liu, the great disciple of Li Luoneng, the originator of Xingyiquan, and his eight diagrams palm was mostly influenced by Xingyiquan, thus forming the unique style of "Zhang's Xingyiquan Eight Diagrams Palm". Therefore, some people call Mr. Zhang Zhankui's Bagua Palm "Xingyiquan in the Circle".

Zhang Zhankui's Xingyiquan Bagua Palm is an internal boxing method. Guided by Yi-ology, it turns twisting and walking into the main exercise form and method, wins the infinite spiral force through rolling (twisting) and drilling (stabbing), and modifies the palm, posture and footwork of Bagua Palm vertically and horizontally into offensive and defensive means with the odd and positive combination and long-short interaction of Xingyiquan.
