The most serious problem facing agricultural development in China.

The main problems faced by agricultural development in China are:

(1) The agricultural structure is unreasonable, the proportion of planting is too large, and the development of other industries is unbalanced;

(2) Agricultural production efficiency is not high, and the proportion of human labor is large. The level of mechanization is relatively low;

(3) The level of agricultural science and technology is low, the quality of agricultural labor force is low, and agricultural production mainly depends on traditional experience;

(4) The agricultural ecological environment has been seriously damaged and polluted. Fertilizers and pesticides have seriously polluted the soil. Excessive pesticides in agricultural products affect the entry of agricultural products in China into the international market; Soil erosion, land desertification and land salinization are serious.

(5) Unreasonable utilization of land resources, serious phenomenon of indiscriminate occupation of cultivated land and abandoned land;

(6) The agricultural infrastructure is weak, and the ability to resist disasters is poor. Drought and flood disasters have serious harm to agricultural production;

(6) The shortage and uneven distribution of water resources have obviously restricted agricultural production.
