Traditional production video of bamboo salt

From white salt to amethyst, how is nine roasted bamboo salt made?

First of all, the production process of bamboo salt is divided into eight calcination and one smelting, which takes nearly two months from the beginning to the end. In addition to rock pigments, the selection of materials for bamboo tubes and loess is also very particular. The bamboo tube is fresh bamboo for more than three years, and the loess is selenium-rich soil dug in the deep mountains. Workers first pour the salt into the mixing barrel, mix it evenly with salt water, and then start to fill the bamboo tube with salt. This tool seems simple, but it can't hold any horse goods. You must put salt in a bamboo tube to ensure the quality of bamboo salt. Next, after sealing each bamboo tube with loess, the first calcination process is started.

Second, push the bamboo tube into the kiln, use these chopped pines as fuel, and keep baking at the high temperature of 1000 degrees for ten hours. The equipment should observe the charcoal fire in the kiln in real time to prevent pine wood from burning halfway. After the first calcination, the outer bamboo tube has already turned to ashes. After the internal salt is mixed with bamboo particles in Phyllostachys pubescens and the fragrance of pine trees, this hard gray-white rock pillar is left. Now we need to mash them all in the machine.

Third, repeatedly calcine the Chinese character in the same way just now, so as to completely volatilize the harmful substances in the salt. In fact, by the third stage of calcination, the standard of edible salt has been reached. Now it is the ninth melter, and the temperature requirement is different from the previous eight characters. Pour bamboo salt into the furnace, light the firewood, and then continuously stuff the prepared pine juice into the furnace, so that the combustion temperature can be increased to more than 2000 degrees. After continuous high-temperature smelting, the bamboo stone in the furnace gradually turns into magma, slowly flows into the barrel with a smoke outlet, and then is dragged onto the safety boots. After cooling at rest for one night, it becomes this beautiful purple salt crystal. Finally, the finished product of bamboo salt is made here after the workers slowly break, grind, drink and filter.
