Why Spring Festival?

"The sound of firecrackers is the beginning of a new year, and the spring breeze sends warmth into the TuSu"

--Preface

As a traditional festival in China, the Spring Festival can be regarded as one of the more grand festivals, with the setting off of firecrackers, putting up of couplets, wearing of new clothes and cleaning of homes. Firecrackers, sticking couplets, wearing new clothes, cleaning the house and other kinds of traditional customs make this festival more colorful. And behind it is carried by the Chinese children full of human feelings, as well as the importance of home, it seems to be a link invisibly connect people, I think the support of people home is not only the significance of the festival, but also in the heart of the deep emotion of home. So what is the significance of the Spring Festival, the following is my understanding.

1, the Spring Festival itself contains people's desire for a better life.

New Year's Eve is a solemn ceremony of saying goodbye to the old and welcoming the new. The annual New Year's Eve, the resignation of the old and the welcoming of the new, is both a time past and a new future at the same time. Every year's New Year is undoubtedly a summary of everyone's life, but also a starting point for a new journey. For children, they have grown up again, for young people, they have matured a little, for middle-aged people, they have gained a little, and for the elderly, another year has passed. Therefore, New Year's Eve is not only a year-end summary and harvest celebration of the old year, but also a confident outlook and good expectation for the new year ahead. Men and women, young and old, in their respective minds, there will be some kind of solemn ceremony and sense of responsibility.

2, the Spring Festival is the inheritance of traditional culture.

Chinese New Year is a traditional culture with a long history. About the New Year is from an ancient legend, said that in ancient times at the end of the year, there will be a kind of monster called "Nian" to the village harassment and harm people, so people called "Nian Guan". People would use red objects, loud noises and fire to drive the Nian away, and after passing the Nian Kwan, they would be able to have a safe and happy New Year. It can be seen that the New Year is indeed a long history of traditional cultural festivals, the children of China, no matter who they are, where they are, have been inherited from generation to generation, endless. Especially those who sacrificed stove, dust, ancestor worship, New Year's paintings, spring couplets, dumplings, New Year's Eve, firecrackers, dragon and lion dances, red lanterns, etc., are not thousands of years of traditional culture inherited from the ancestors of the Chinese nation.
