The reason why that string of small colored lights doesn't work.

Lantern making is a traditional handicraft art. Sometimes, after receiving the lantern products, customers find that the lanterns don't light up after being electrified. Today, Chilong will take stock of eight reasons why lanterns are not bright.

1. The packaging protection of colored lights is not perfect, and the bulbs are damaged due to collision during transportation.

2. There is virtual welding in the welding of colored light bulbs, and the vibration during handling causes the solder joints to fall off, resulting in the colored lights not being lit.

3. The cable connector inside the lantern is not encapsulated by heat shrinkable tube, and the connector falls off after pulling the cable, which makes the lantern unable to light.

4. The transformer of the main controller of lantern production failed, resulting in high voltage, and the lantern bulb could not be electrified.

5. The voltage at the site is unstable, which causes the treasure fuse of the power control box to be blown and the colored lights to be off.

6. Excessive extrusion during the production and installation of colored lights leads to chip damage or solder deformation and falling off.

7. The solder mask of the flexible light strip used for making colored lights is too thick to be completely fused with the cable when welding.

8. The workers who manufacture and install colored lights operate improperly. When connecting the input low-voltage cable, there is no one-to-one correspondence with the codes on the four cable cores, which leads to wiring errors and the colored lights are not lit.

Lantern making

How to identify the production quality of colored lights;

There are many manufacturers of colored lanterns, and the prices of colored lanterns made by regular manufacturers and small workshop manufacturers are quite different. But from a professional and technical point of view, I'm afraid many customers don't have this ability. But from the simple appearance, we can basically judge the quality of production.

The quality of colored lights can be identified mainly from the following aspects:

1, see the paste process. The pasting technology of regular lantern manufacturers is very fine. The pasted cloth is very dense, and it is bonded with heat-shrinkable glue, and no glue and thread ends can be seen when bonding. In addition, gold thread is used to cover joints.

2, see the lantern skeleton welding. The welding of lantern frame can be divided into fusion welding and brazing. Fusion welding is aimed at thicker steel frame, with smooth condensation point and clean welding slag. Brazing is aimed at the thin steel skeleton, and the steel wires are connected into a whole by brazing, which can be properly bent without the phenomenon of desoldering.
