What is the difference between transcendental algebraic equation and traditional algebraic equation?

The difference between transcendental algebraic equation and traditional algebraic equation is that transcendental algebraic equation contains transcendental function, while traditional algebraic equation only contains polynomial function. Transcendental functions are exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions and other functions that cannot be expressed by polynomials. Therefore, the solution of transcendental algebraic equation is related to the solution of transcendental function, which is impossible in algebraic geometry.
