Introduction of Nan Huaijin

Nan Huaijin (1918 - ) is a master of Chinese studies, poet, and an active propagator of traditional Chinese culture.Born in 1918 in Nanzhai, Changqi Township, Liu Shi District, Yueqing, Zhejiang, China, Nan Huaijin raised funds for the construction of the Jin-Wen Railway at the end of the 1980s, which was completed and opened to traffic in 1998. Nan Huaijin, born in 1918, is a native of the village behind the temple in Nanzhai, Yueqing. He was trained by his family at an early age, and studied the various schools of thought at a young age.　He graduated from the second phase of the Chinese Martial Arts Training Course at the Zhejiang Martial Arts Museum, the tenth phase of the Political Studies Course at the Central Military Academy, and the Department of Social Welfare at the Research Institute of Jinling University. Upon his return to Shu, he taught at the Officer Education Corps of the Central Military Academy. He then devoted himself to Buddhism and spent three years in Emei Daping Monastery. Later, he lectured at Yunnan University and Sichuan University. After going to Taiwan, he became a professor at the Chinese Culture University, Fu Jen University, National Chengchi University, and other universities and research institutes. A few years ago, he traveled to the United States and is now living in Hong Kong. During his stay in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the United States, he founded the East-West Cultural Essentials Association, the Lao Gu Cultural Business Corporation, the East-West Cultural Institute of Virginia in the United States, the Toronto Chinese Cultural College in Canada, and the Hong Kong International Cultural and Educational Foundation.
