How does chicken manure ferment?

Step 1: Mix the starter evenly. 1 ~ 1.5 tons of dry chicken manure (about 2.5 ~ 3.5 tons of fresh chicken manure) is added to 1 kg of chicken manure organic fertilizer biological starter, and an average of 5 ~ 10 kg of rice bran or corn and bran is added to each kg of starter, and the best effect is achieved by evenly mixing and sprinkling into the prepared chicken manure.

Step 2: Adjust the carbon-nitrogen ratio. The carbon-nitrogen ratio of fermented chicken manure should be kept at 25 ~ 30: 1, and the pH value should be adjusted to 6 ~ 8 (pH). Because of the high carbon-nitrogen ratio of chicken manure, some straw, straw and mushroom residue should be added during fermentation.

Step 3: Adjust the moisture of chicken manure. In the process of organic fertilizer fermentation, it is very important whether the water content is appropriate, neither too high nor too low, and it should be kept at 60 ~ 65%. Judgment method: Hold a handful of materials tightly, so that the watermark can be seen between fingers without dripping, and it can be scattered when landing.

Step 4: pile up a pile of chicken manure. When making chicken manure fermentation pile, it should not be too small and too short, too small will affect fermentation. Generally, the pile with a height of about 1.5 m, a width of about 2 m and a length of more than 2 ~ 4 m has better fermentation effect.

Step 5: stir evenly and ventilate. Chicken manure organic fertilizer bio-starter is an oxygen-consuming microorganism. In the process of fermentation, oxygen supply measures should be increased, properly stirred evenly, and often turned over for ventilation, otherwise anaerobic fermentation will affect the fermentation effect of materials.

Step 6: Fermentation is completed. Generally, after 48 hours of chicken manure accumulation, the temperature will rise to 50 ~ 60℃ and reach above 65℃ on the third day. In this high temperature, it overturned once. Generally, there will be high temperature above 65℃ for 2 ~ 3 times in the fermentation process, and the fermentation can be completed after turning over for 2 ~ 3 times, which can be completed in a normal week or so, so that the materials can be completely deodorized, fermented and decomposed, sterilized and insecticidal.
