Pine smoke is made of pine trees. Ordinary kiln is a kiln where pine trees are cut down and expanded, which is also called burning in the dragon kiln, and the smoke is repeatedly washed with sand; Good pine smoke is burned with dozens of old pine roots (Song Ming), which is full of oil and has the characteristics of lampblack and pine smoke. Oil fume is made of tung oil, rapeseed oil, lard and other oils. Tung oil is the most commonly used and most suitable material for lampblack, with good color and easy smoking. There are also pig oil fume, rapeseed oil fume and linseed oil fume. The most expensive is Song Huizong's first Su He oil fume. Suhe oil is expensive, difficult to pump, and the price is higher than gold.
