"A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" is one of the top ten famous paintings handed down by China. It took Wang Ximeng, a painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, six months to finish painting at the age of 18. Different from black-and-white ink painting, this painting is named because it is painted with stones, bluestones and green mineral pigments, and the gorgeous turquoise tones are intertwined, depicting the magnificence thousands of miles away. This is also the source of "turquoise" in "Only this turquoise". According to the adaptation of Zhou Liya and Han Zhen, the whole dance poetic drama takes the chapters of "exhibition, seal cutting, singing silk, stone searching, pen learning, ink quenching and painting" as the key link, and tells the story of a young researcher in the Forbidden City who "crossed" back to the Northern Song Dynasty and "caught a glimpse" of the painter Wang Ximeng's "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" from the perspective of exhibition.
