Classification of Burmese Dance
Burmese dance can be divided into two categories: ancient drama dance originated from Burmese puppet show, classical drama and Ingrid dance. /kloc-After the "Song of the Thirty-Seven Gods" appeared in Myanmar literature in the 6th century,/kloc-In the 8th century, the Kampong Dynasty arranged different dances for each god, forming a systematic dance of gods. Through the spread of folk activities of jumping and worshipping gods, it developed into a palace puppet show. Later, some programs in the puppet show and different dance movements of various puppet characters were transplanted into modern Burmese dance. Such as worship dance, fairy dance, Boluo dance, male and female puppet dance, etc. Among them, the worship dance was renamed maid-in-waiting dance, which became the opening program used in modern Burmese drama and dance performance, and the bag dance "puppet step" and "puppet climb" became the basic movements of modern Burmese dance.
