Album introduction

The work of French director Alec Wali, co-produced by France, Nepal, Switzerland and Britain, won two awards, namely, Best Photography and Best Music at Caesar Film Festival in 2000, Best Director Award at Berlin Film Festival and Best Foreign Language Film Nomination at Oscar.

French musician Bruno Cullis's music full of Tibetan customs, accompanied by these exquisite shots, lingers in people's ears and brings people a double shock of sight and hearing. His trilogy of "Heaven, Earth and Man" includes the documentary "Le Peuple Migratory Birds", the film "MICROCOSMOS" which shows the happy life of bugs, and the feature film "HIMALAYA" which praises the connection between human beings and nature.

The music written by Bruno Cullis for the Himalayas is very novel. He skillfully combined the chanting of lamas in temples, Tibetan folk songs and western symphony orchestras, simulated the traditional Tibetan horn with brass trumpets, and imitated the chanting of lamas with bass. Bruno? Culex conveyed the strange beauty and deep breath of that mysterious land in a way that westerners can easily understand. No wonder he won Caesar's Best Music Award, and the soundtrack is also very popular in the West.
