(1) The basic requirements of the working site of the thresher are that the ground is flat, the area is sufficient, and there is a specified power supply. When placing the thresher, it should be noted that the air outlet for removing impurities should be placed in the downwind direction, so as to avoid poor impurity removal, and at the same time, effective fire prevention facilities should be set around the site.
(2) The installation of the thresher should ensure the stability of the four feet, and the equipment will not shake or vibrate obviously. After stopping, check the installation of all parts of the thresher, and confirm that the key parts are fixed and reliable, the rotating parts are flexible, the adjusting mechanism is adjusted correctly, the safety facilities are complete and effective, and there are tools or other sundries left in the machine.
(3) Before the thresher is officially put into use, it must be put into trial operation and debugging again. Check whether there are any problems such as poor operation, jamming and abnormal noise on the drum and fan by idling the machine. After confirmation, add a small amount of corn to check the threshing state.
(4) The thresher operators should do well in safety protection. People with long hair should tie up their hair and wrap it with a hat. All workers should wear masks and cover their arms and legs with clothes when threshing.
3.2 Matters needing attention in threshing implementation
(1) During threshing operation, corn must be fed as required, and the feeding amount should not be too much, so as to avoid grain waste or thresher failure caused by incomplete threshing or excessive running load of the thresher; The feed rate should not be too low to avoid inefficient operation of the machine tool and serious waste of resources; It is necessary to avoid uneven feeding, that is, the amount of corn is long or short, which will not only lead to low work efficiency, but also affect the net yield of corn.
(2) When the thresher is working, the drum speed shall be guaranteed within the specified range. In general, the higher the rotating speed of the threshing drum, the higher the threshing rate and the higher the crushing rate. The lower the rotating speed of threshing drum, the lower the crushing rate, but the lower the threshing rate. In addition, after comprehensively considering various factors such as the moisture content of corn, the gap between rollers should be adjusted to a suitable range.
(3) Pay attention to the rest and adjustment of the machine tool. Under normal circumstances, the thresher should be stopped and trimmed every 8 hours to check the lubrication and wear of machines and tools, and the parts with serious wear or failure due to other reasons should be replaced in time.
(4) During the use of the thresher, pay close attention to the state of the machine. If the thresher is found to be abnormal, it should be stopped immediately, and the threshing operation can be continued only after checking and troubleshooting.
4 Maintenance precautions
(1) After the threshing work is completed, the corn and other sundries left on the machine should be removed in time, and whether any parts are loose due to mechanical operation should be checked, the tension of the drive belt and chain should be adjusted in time, and cleaning and maintenance should be carried out.
(2) Check whether the safety protection facilities of the thresher are complete and whether the installation is reliable. If it is found missing, it should be replenished in time. For mechanical parts damaged by welding, they should be repaired in time and rusted if necessary.
(3) When the thresher is stored for a long time, it should be placed in a dry warehouse or factory shed, properly padded with sleepers, and properly covered to avoid aging and corrosion of machine parts due to humidity and exposure.
