The film "Man Jiang Hong" is the first time that Han Hong composed music for this film, and invited Li Hongchao, the chief banhu pianist of Henan Luoyang Henan Opera Theatre, to co-produce it with the famous band Zebra Forest in Luoyang.

After repeated discussions with director Zhang Yimou, Han Hong tried a variety of music forms, and finally integrated Henan Opera with electronic music, bringing an extraordinary new interpretation. The whole film uses China traditional instrumental music such as sheng, flute, Qin, cymbals and suona, and with the rhythm of the story, it sets off the emotional transmission of the characters, and integrates the music into the whole film and becomes a part of the film.
