How to better carry out characteristic origami teaching and research activities in kindergartens

Origami is a traditional folk art and a small handicraft that is deeply loved by children. By cutting, folding, pasting and drawing, it skillfully makes paper into various vivid and interesting images, such as people, animals, clothes, buildings, flowers and so on. It is simple and exaggerated, full of fun, and it is an intentional activity to enlighten children's wisdom. Through origami, children can promote the development of small hand muscles, the coordination of fingers and wrists, and the coordination of hands, eyes and brain, and develop children's imagination, creativity, memory and thinking ability. They can also learn the names of geometric shapes, establish preliminary geometric figures, and know a little about calculation and visual inspection. Moreover, children can learn about the ancient culture of China through origami, from which they can be influenced and educated by art. In the process of origami, I found that there are some imaginative elements in children's works. In the face of their own achievements, children can describe them in simple words. However, the exploration and skills of schematic diagram are still relatively unfamiliar. If you need a lot of explanations and demonstrations, it will take a lot of effort to carry out origami activities every time, and often the expected results will not be achieved in the end. Children will gradually lose self-confidence, thus weakening their interest in origami, not to mention taking the initiative to explore.

Origami education in kindergarten is enlightenment education, which focuses on stimulating children's interest in origami and exploring their desires, rather than teaching them how many works they have. So I think the process of children learning origami should be a process of active exploration. Teachers should let children use their existing experience, try, explore and discover problems through various senses, their own hands and brains, solve problems through interaction, and enjoy the fun of persuasion and success. The goal of Reggio's educational activities in Emilia is children's happy, happy and healthy growth. Among them, initiative and creativity are regarded as the premise and core of happiness, happiness and health.

The outline points out that children's artistic activity ability is gradually developed in the process of bold expression, and the role of teachers should mainly stimulate children's interest in feeling and expressing beauty, enrich children's aesthetic experience, and make them experience the joy of free expression and creation; On this basis, according to children's development and needs, timely and appropriate guidance is given to expression methods and skills. Quality education also puts forward the educational goal of cultivating children's origami ability, improving children's interest and expressing beauty. When we used to teach children origami, the teacher often folded one step and the child learned one step. Children only imitate mechanically and passively, lacking creativity, enthusiasm and initiative in participating in activities. This semester my class is characterized by paper art activities, so I started with origami.

First, create a relaxed and suitable educational environment for children.

Environment is an important resource that cannot be ignored in kindergarten education. Montessori once strongly advocated the educational role of the environment for children. Many educators have also said that the environment is the concept of education. Meng Mu's three moves in ancient times just showed the importance of the environment. So, in terms of environment, I want to try from two aspects:

1, physical environment:

(1), to provide children with appreciation space:

Let children visit some origami works, so as to understand and cultivate the characteristics of origami, the beauty between colors, the interaction of modeling and the ancient culture contained. In order to improve children's aesthetic ability.

(2) Provide rich activity materials for children:

When children have a certain understanding of origami, they should do it themselves. Let children choose materials according to their own needs, which can not only beautify the works and meet the needs, but also help children gain knowledge and experience in exploration.

2. Mental environment

When you are in a good mood, the first thing you do is half the battle. Therefore, it is very important to create a relaxed and happy creative space for children. I think I must liberate myself first. Psychologically, you should treat your children with a very relaxed heart, don't give them any pressure, and don't try to make them fold your thoughts. Instead, you should teach while watching and guide while experiencing. Where are the children? We must also emancipate our hands, eyes, brains and mouths. Let them observe what they are interested in with their eyes, fully expand their brains to think about the image they want, communicate freely with their partners, and create it in various ways with their own little hands. At the same time, teachers should use appreciation education to affirm the value contained in children's creation, so that they can gain experience and have more desire and enthusiasm for creation. At the beginning of the next semester in the middle class, the teaching activities of reading legends and origami were systematically carried out. Once I folded out a few small animals for my children to enjoy, and the children proposed to learn to fold these small animals. So, I took out the legend of folding small animals and told them that the teacher looked at these legends to fold these small animals. If children learn to read legends, of course, they can fold them, and they can also fold better and more things! Excited, driven by strong interest, the children learned some folding symbols, such as: positive folding, reverse folding, cutting and other symbols. I also provided them with simple legends of cat heads, dog heads and dolls for children to explore. In addition, we also selected some objects that meet their folding level for children, and provided them with beautiful and neatly folded finished products for them to disassemble and fold. In terms of materials, children are provided with various shapes and colorful papers and legends. In the art district, children are provided with opportunities to learn to read legendary origami.

Second, master the basic folding method.

The Regulations point out that educational activities in kindergartens should follow the principle of gradual progress. In practice, we always follow the principles from simple to complex, from shallow to deep, from easy to difficult. Children learn to fold corners at first, and then learn to fold corners, double triangles and double squares. When children learn a basic folding method, we often provide some legends related to this folding method. For example, when learning to fold double triangles, provide children with legends such as pagodas, balls and rabbits to consolidate them.

Third, all children should be taught in accordance with their aptitude.

Mr. Chen Heqin has his own unique views on children's painting education. Put forward the principle of teaching all children in accordance with their aptitude. Because every child's origami level is different. Be flexible in objectives, methods and use. For example, in the activity of origami teapot, we set three development goals: (1) origami under the guidance of teachers. (2) Children learn to read examples and make origami in the process of disassembling and folding. (3) Children watch Legendary Origami independently. In terms of methods, we also adopt the form of combining centralized teaching with individual teaching. For example, when learning new origami methods, we adopt the form of collective teaching. In regional activities, children with strong ability are required to overcome difficulties independently to complete their works, and the works should be neat and beautiful. For children with poor ability, other children can help each other, or teachers can guide, demonstrate and guide them individually, or give them an example to open and learn how to fold. Gradually cultivate children's ability to complete works independently.

Children in large classes have the ability to read atlases and origami. Every time in the origami class, the children are eager to try as soon as the teacher shows the atlas. At this time, according to the traditional teaching methods, the teacher has not implemented his own teaching procedures. How can he trust the children to try for themselves? At the beginning of teaching, the ideas of children and teachers can't be reached, and the teaching effect can be imagined. The article "Children and Teachers in Reggio's Educational Idea" writes that children are active learners and masters of their own growth. Children not only have the need to learn, but also have the ability to learn. Trust children and let them try independently. I adopted the method of natural acquisition from the beginning of the piano lesson, because I have already folded the same series of works. I said to the children, try bravely and see who can succeed the first time. Children can accept this way very well, because I have seen that most children have tried it while watching. For them, I think this is a challenge. Whether they succeed or not, they all like their teachers to trust them so much. At this moment, I seem to blend in with them. Although I only said one sentence, they accepted me, and they have been inspired by their own exploration. In the process of origami, children change the lazy idea that I can't do it, I can't do it-try hard.

Children have an innate interest in learning and an innate thirst for knowledge, and their interests must be recognized and supported. This intrinsic motivation can promote children's learning. From this I think: our teachers should be good at studying children's thoughts, and know their needs and how they learn through observation, understanding and analysis. Therefore, first of all, we should trust children and let them try independently. This will not only help children develop the habit of independent thinking, but also stimulate their desire to explore actively, and help them find problems and want to solve them themselves.

Fourth, pay attention to the cultivation of children's comprehensive quality and ability.

Mr. Chen Lao pointed out that it is necessary to develop children's intelligence and ability, especially creativity, explore the mysteries of things, enrich children's knowledge, and develop children's comprehensive quality abilities such as observation, attention, imagination, self-control and hands-on ability. For example, when folding a five-pointed star, children folded five corners according to legend, but they didn't know how to insert them completely. In order to mobilize children's thinking ability,
