Is there any law on filial piety in China

The law does not stipulate that children must be filial to their parents, but filial piety is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation.

But the law does stipulate that children have the obligation to support their parents, that is, children have the obligation to support their parents; children do not fulfill the obligation to support, unable to work or living in difficult circumstances parents, have the right to ask their children to pay alimony.

Then it is a question of combining the rule of law and the rule of virtue. In fact, the law as a mandatory behavioral norms, it is not appropriate, nor is it possible to include all behaviors within the scope of its adjustment.

Personally, I believe that the law provides only a minimum of morality, and a large number of behaviors in society still rely on morality, customs and habits to adjust.
