Do Korean students practice Taekwondo?

In Korea, Taekwondo is a national sport, which is generally offered in primary schools, middle schools and universities. I heard that Taekwondo classes in Korea are different from those in physical education class. Korean students go to physical education class and take Taekwondo classes. Almost all Korean students know Taekwondo. They practice Taekwondo mainly to keep fit and respect tradition. Unfortunately, the quintessence of Chinese culture is in China, and China has not received the same attention as South Korea, which is a kind of sadness.
