Why use liquid culture?

If microorganisms (such as fungi) are cultivated, liquid culture medium has the following advantages over solid culture medium:

1. Low cost and high efficiency

2. Conducive to pure culture, high purity, vigorous culture and fast growth.

3. Reduce pollution, because the growth rate of inoculum is fast, so its growth rate exceeds that of miscellaneous bacteria, ensuring quality.

4. Mycelium grows fast, with more germination points and more germination points.

The above four points are mainly for cultivating fungi! Therefore, liquid fermentation culture is an inevitable trend of microbial culture.

If plants are cultivated, liquid culture medium has the following advantages compared with solid culture medium:

1. Low cost

2. Roots are suspended in liquid nutrient solution and kept in dynamic culture state, which is more beneficial for roots to absorb oxygen, thus being more beneficial to plant growth than solid culture.

3. The growth quantity and speed are more and faster than that of solid culture.
