The freezing point of pure ethanol is-1 17.3℃, so the higher the alcohol content in antifreeze, the lower the freezing point, and the stronger its antifreeze ability. Ethanol antifreeze has the advantages of low price, good liquid fluidity and simple preparation. Its disadvantages are low boiling point (only 78.5℃), rapid evaporation, large loss and easy combustion.
