Southwest Jiaotong University: Southwest Jiaotong University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). The school was founded in Shanhaiguan Beiyang Railway Official School on 1896, and has been renamed many times since then. Tangshan Jiaotong University enjoys a good reputation at home and abroad, and is known as "Cornell of the East", especially in civil engineering, mining and metallurgy. From 65438 to 0952, the department was renamed Tangshan Railway Institute after adjustment, specializing in the training of rail transit talents. 1964 The school moved to Emei, and 1972 was named Southwest Jiaotong University. 1989 The main body of the school moved to Chengdu. In 2000, the school was placed under the management of the Ministry of Education.

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China: The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is located in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), and is jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Sichuan Province and Chengdu. Ranked as "World-class University, First-class Discipline", "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", and selected into 20 1 1 Plan and Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan.
4. Chengdu University of Technology: Chengdu University of Technology was founded in 1956, formerly known as Chengdu Geological Exploration Institute, based on the departments of geology of Chongqing University, Northwest University and Nanjing University, and some cadres and teachers were transferred from Beijing Institute of Geology and Northeast Institute of Geology. After the establishment of the school, the petroleum department, the second department and the third department of the former Beijing Institute of Geology moved in successively as organizational systems. 1958 was renamed Chengdu Institute of Geology.
5. xihua university: xihua university was founded in 1960 and renamed as Sichuan Agricultural Machinery College, 1972 and 1983 as Sichuan Institute of Technology. In 2003, Sichuan University of Technology and chengdu normal university merged to form xihua university. In 2008, Sichuan Economic Management Cadre College merged.
