Introduction of Shaoxing yellow rice wine

Shaoxing wine has a great reputation and was rated as one of the top ten famous wines in China in Qing Dynasty. He won many gold medals and excellent certificates at 19 10 Nanyang persuasion meeting, 19 15 Panama World Expo and 1936 Zhejiang-Jiangxi specialty exhibition. In 1952 and 1963, Shaoxing yellow rice wine was rated as one of the "eight famous wines" and "eighteen famous wines" in China respectively. 1979, yellow rice wine was awarded the title of "National Famous Wine" and was awarded a gold medal and certificate by the State Economic Commission. At the same time, Yuan red wine and Shaanxi wine won the title of "National Quality Wine" and were awarded "Quality Product Certificate" by the Ministry of Light Industry. 1980 Xiangxue Liquor also obtained the "Quality Product Certificate" issued by the provincial government. 1983, Jia Fan and Justin won the Gold Cup Award, the Silver Cup Award for Good Brewing, and Xiangxue won the title of Excellent Department in the Liquor Quality Competition of the Ministry of Light Industry. During the period of 1985, Shaoxing Tabai yellow wine won the gold medal in the World Food Tourism Product Appraisal in Paris, France, and won the gold medal twice in the 12th World Expo held in Paris, France in the same year.

Among the numerous liquors in China, Shaoxing Old Liquor is one of the most award-winning varieties. A few years ago, the state announced the protocol reform, and Shaoxing yellow wine replaced Maotai as the wine for foreign guests' state banquets.
