Jiangsu traditional customs

Jiangsu traditional festival culture has distinct regional characteristics. The Dragon Boat Festival in Suzhou and the Lantern Festival in Qinhuai, Nanjing, represent the cultural and regional characteristics of traditional festivals in China, such as Dragon Boat Festival, Lantern Festival and Tomb-Sweeping Day, and are listed as national intangible cultural heritage.

Tanabata in Taicang, Yuanxiao in Jintan pomelo, unique folk activities in Yixing and other forms of butterfly festivals are listed in the provincial intangible cultural heritage list.

Jiangsu is still active, and the temples listed as provincial intangible cultural heritage include Sishan Temple in Xuecheng, Nanjing Temple, Mazu Temple in Taiwan Province Province, Ren Xian Temple, Wuxi Temple, Huishan Taibo Temple in Suzhou, Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang, ji zi Temple in Huashan Temple and Fangshan Temple in Xuzhou.
