What new models of children's traditional culture education have been created by Huaxia Campus Art Festival?

Dalian Wafangdian Sun Valley Bilingual Primary School recently held the Huaxia Campus Culture and Art Festival, and caring parents also took the initiative to participate. This art festival has created a new model of traditional culture education in schools, and made bold innovations in the content of activities, making traditional culture education more vivid, grounded and popular.

As the first full-time demonstration school in Liaoning province that combines Chinese studies with examinations, it held the "Huaxia Campus Culture and Art Festival" for three weeks during the summer vacation. The campus culture and art festival is rich in content, including guqin, Weiqi, calligraphy, painting, flower path, tea ceremony, fragrant path, Zen shooting, martial arts and so on. And the long-lost traditional handmade embroidery, carpentry, Zen dance, plus "pushing hoop", football, basketball and other fashion sports. The festival also held a series of activities such as "Huaxia Food Street", "bonfire party" and "open-air movies". The students learned with relish, and many caring parents who came to help out were fascinated.

Li Xianfeng, principal of Sun Valley Bilingual Primary School, said that the real function of art is to internalize the mind and use art to enter the Tao. The main purpose of opening an art festival is to purify children's hearts with traditional arts that children like, cultivate students' noble accomplishment and benefit children for life.
