What are the benefits of opening the chakras

What are chakras?

The chakras, one of the unique doctrines of Tibetan Buddhism-Tantra. It is believed that there are seven chakras in the human body, equivalent to the 702 acupuncture points in Chinese medicine. The Tibetan Buddhist doctrine of chakras is based on the Indian doctrine of yoga, the Chinese doctrine of the five elements, the Chinese doctrine of yin and yang, Chinese medicine and Tibetan culture, and has a unique cultural heritage.

It is distributed in seven energy centers in the human body, namely the top of the head, between the eyebrows, the throat, the center of the chest, near the navel, the lower abdomen and the tailbone. The role of the chakras is to exert influence on the functions of the body's organs, feelings, and spirit, and are closely linked to colors. From the bottom up they are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Chakras are present in the body and govern the functioning of the mind and body. Physically, they are related to organ function; mentally, they influence emotions and spirituality.

The Dance of the Arterial Chakras is a physical and mental healing system based on the chakras, targeting the seven chakra nodes of the human body and linking the energy of the chakras with spontaneous dance, energy breathing, and other forms of multi-dimensional healing. Through "Chakra Dance", the accumulated negative energies are released, the positive energies of the chakras are stimulated, the positive qualities of each chakra are brought out, and the practitioner is reconnected to the body, the inner life force, the true self, and nature, and is able to face life with a new state of mind and body. Dancing Arterial Chakras is one of the series of courses on spiritual growth led by Tong Li Hui, a national spiritual teacher. The teacher is determined to share and spread this healing program to help more people to achieve spiritual awakening and enhancement. In the teacher's philosophy, the body is the first door to the body-spirit, and along with spiritual growth the body is always a carrier for our practice. Any shortcuts to the spiritual level that are detached from the body and mind will fall into a vague level. My teacher's words, "The body is the temple, the soul is the Buddha," aptly expresses her thinking.

What is the difference between chakra dance and dance performance art?

Often dance in the performing arts emphasizes the art of dance as a way of communicating with the outside world, focusing on how to accurately master the physical vocabulary in order to convey a certain mood or ideology of the overall work to the audience, and most of the time it is through dance that one achieves fitness. As Osho says, while dancing itself is good and healthy, if the dancer is separated from the dance, it can only be considered a form of exercise, not meditation.

Mindful dance, which is concerned with exploring the inner through the process of dancing, has no purpose in itself, but is simply a process of guiding the individual to become aware, and to find a way of connecting with the inner. Therefore, the expression of the dance or the beauty of the movements is not the focus, rather, it is the process that leads to a spontaneous dance that helps us to connect with our inner being and our heart through our body.

Because spiritual dance is not about external form, but about connecting with the inner self, even people with no dance background are able to enter into spontaneous spiritual dance with ease.
