How much is one pound of local pork
It's been snowing heavily for a while now, and the wild boars in the mountains are coming down in droves. With the gun ban these past few years, the mountains are flooded with wild boar!
The pigs raised by farmers in the deep mountains are never fed any additives, and the fat meat is glutinous, which is really much better than the pork outside the mountains. Mountain farmers usually raise two pigs in a family (a single pig is not good to raise).
We know that large-scale commercial pig farming without the use of veterinary drugs is basically impossible. Otherwise a blue ear disease, swine fever, will make the company blood money. So apart from lean pork, what we also need is whether local pork contains less veterinary drug residues per 100 grams than ordinary pork.
Personally, I don't think the "No. 1 local pork" is reliable! Personally, I think it's just hype!
