1995, Song Lele was born in Gansu, a carpenter's family, his father is an old carpenter, mother is responsible for farming. Song Lele grew up as a mediocre student, but her parents still wanted her to go to college and find a stable job in the future.

Later, Song Lele went to college as she had hoped, and heard her parents say that being a kindergarten teacher was not hard work and relatively stable, so she enrolled in the kindergarten teacher program at that time.

After graduation, she followed her parents' wishes and went to a kindergarten as a kindergarten teacher. But she didn't do it for long, she felt that being a kindergarten teacher wasn't the ideal job she had in mind, she wanted to be a carpenter. And the idea grew stronger within her as she grew older, and quit her job as a kindergarten teacher in 2017.

In 2018, after returning to Lanzhou, she defied her family's objections and started a woodcraft workshop in the Lanzhou Cultural and Creative Building.

Thinking back to the beginning, Song Lele said: "At the very beginning, it was really quite difficult, I live in Xigu, the store chose in Chengguan, get up at 5:00 a.m. every day to catch the first bus to the store, and then at night to catch the last bus back home, but I never thought of giving up, I just want to do a job that I like!"

Now, every day, many couples and parents bring their children over to experience a little carpentry, to feel the art of traditional, time-honored Chinese woodworking. They make a ring or a bracelet, starting with a piece of wood and going through the process of cutting, sanding and oiling, which takes about 2 hours to complete. Although the process can be long, they all enjoy it.

And whenever customers come to the store, Song Lele will provide tools and wood and guide them through a piece of wood art on their own.
