What is the difference between traditional printing and digital printing paper?

Ordinary traditional offset paper can be used if strict distinction is not considered. It should be noted that paper under 60 grams is not suitable for digital printing, and it is easy to jam; Paper jams in digital printing are mostly related to paper, and traditional printing machines will not have paper jams. So in order to avoid paper jam, it is best to use digital specialty paper. Here I want to mention the difference between digital printing paper and offset printing paper. For digital printing paper, taking coated paper as an example, the coating layer on the surface of coated paper is ultra-flat, which ensures that the toner can be uniformly printed on the coated surface, so that the toner can be uniformly solidified in the process of heating and fixing, and the color performance is relatively uniform and light. On the contrary, if offset coated paper is used for digital printing, due to the ink printing principle of offset printing, the requirements on the paper surface are not as high as those of digital printing equipment, and some toner will fall into the uneven coating gap on the paper surface, and the color after fixing will be worse than that of digital professional paper! So in theory, real digital paper is technically higher and more expensive than traditional printing paper. There is color paper in digital paper, which is an advanced printing paper made of pure pulp. Its surface is very smooth and delicate, and it is the best paper among all digital papers. Of course, paper that can be used in digital machines can also be used in traditional printing. In addition, it should be noted that professional digital printing paper has been treated without static electricity, while ordinary printing paper has not been treated. At present, many art designs are expressed through a large number of art papers. If these papers are not strictly required, most of them can be used in digital printing machines, except for polyester-coated papers, which are easy to melt and cause paper jams!
