What is the most famous Shaanxi opera?

There are too many Shaanxi operas. The most famous traditional plays are: Three Drops of Blood, Foal of Fire, Beautiful Case, Visiting the West Lake, The Orphan of Zhao, Golden Beach, Yuan and so on. And there is a popular saying that "there are three thousand in the Tang Dynasty, eight hundred in the Han Dynasty and countless in the Zhou Dynasty".

In recent years, there have also been many new Shaanxi Opera dramas, including historical dramas and modern dramas. Among them, The Bride of Liuhe Bay, a new edition of Shaanxi Opera, The Tree Moves Westward by Shaanxi Opera Research Institute, The Late Rose by Xijing, and Guo and Zheng Yingjiao of Anwuyi Theatre Company are famous.

In recent years, local troupes have also created many new Shaanxi opera dramas, such as Huanhuaxi Fu starring Xianyang Troupe, Su by Baoji Troupe and Begging for the Emperor through the Ages by Weinan Troupe.
