What kind of solo is Yi dance music?

Yi dance music is a pipa solo.

Yi dance, together with other colorful Yi music, provided a solid life foundation for yi dance's music creation and accumulated rich music materials.

Dance of Yi Nationality is a pipa solo composed by Wang Huiran on 1965, with the background of Yunnan Yi nationality's haicaiqiang and cigarette box dance. It depicts the charming night and the scene of people dancing happily in Yi villages with lyrical and beautiful melody and rough and powerful rhythm. Music is rich in national characteristics and has a strong flavor of the times, which is deeply loved by many musicians.

It was adapted into guzheng, sanxian, dulcimer, Ruan solo and orchestra. Yin Biao adapted it into a guitar solo, and participated in the China International Guitar Art Festival held by 1987 in Zhuhai, which was highly praised at home and abroad and became a famous guitar song with great influence in the guitar field.

The work started at 1959, and ended at 1960 after many revisions. After the music came out, it quickly swept the country and was selected as the pipa teaching material in music colleges.
