Does anyone know of any famous local crafts in Romania?

Galle is a unique Romanian handicraft, made of glass, with hand-painted designs, each one different, no two are exactly the same. The patterns are colorful and richly layered, and can be made into lamps, pen holders, vases, ashtrays, and many other household items or displays. The largest Galle can reach more than 1 meter high, the kind of floor vase is very beautiful. Romanian food is typically Eastern European, with a touch of Balkan and French flavors. Romanians rarely go to restaurants, so there is a shortage of decent restaurants, most of which are French. Farmers in the mountains or resorts sell fresh fruit and cheese, milk is rich in fat and many stores sell powdered milk, and you can find cheap kebabs and Turkish baklava sandwiches on the streets, which taste best when they are still fresh and warm in the morning. Romania's "fast food," which refers to pre-made microwaveable food, is best approached with reservations.

The diet is similar to that of most European countries, with more emphasis on lunch and simpler breakfasts and dinners, the opposite of what you'd find at home. Only Bucharest has a wider choice of food. Lunch usually starts with a soup, followed by a main course (usually roast pork, beef or chicken) and a snack.
