What's with the freight forwarder?

Freight Forwarders Some freight forwarders are middlemen, that is, they don't have their own boats or planes, or shipping companies and airlines are freight forwarders.

The responsibility is to transport the goods entrusted by the principal from one place to another through the designated transportation route. Freight forwarders are companies that collect and transport goods for transportation companies (land, sea and air), so they play an important role in completing the trade between shippers and merchants.

In the international freight market, the agency industry is between the shipper and the carrier, accepting the entrustment of the shipper, acting as an agent for chartering, booking space, loading, preparing relevant documents, customs declaration, inspection, insurance, container transportation, unpacking, issuing bills of lading, settling freight and miscellaneous fees, and even presenting documents for negotiation and settlement.
