Traditional translation process
There are two ways to translate information:
First, direct translation. This method refers to the word-for-word conversion of information in the language, keeping the original intention as much as possible. This method generally requires translators to have professional vocabulary and language skills.
Second, interpretation and translation. When there is a saying or habit in a certain language or culture that has no corresponding expression in other languages or cultures, it needs to be explained and translated. This kind of translation focuses on the culture, tradition and people's understanding behind the language.
No matter what kind of translation, the translator needs to convey the original intention of the information as faithfully as possible in order to achieve the purpose of communication. At the same time, in the process of information translation, both sides should communicate, understand and negotiate with each other in order to communicate and exchange information better.
