What is LP vinyl record

LP, the traditional vinyl record, is Long-Playing, because the response frequency of the record is proportional to the speed of rotation, the faster the rotation, the wider the response frequency, but the shorter the recording time; in the early stage of the development of the record, the technology is not yet very developed, the record has to be rotated at a high speed to maintain a wider response frequency, so the recording time is very short.

Traditional vinyl records are also known as 'LPs', and the whole vinyl record source system is called the 'LP system', or 'analog source' to distinguish it from the CD's digital source.

In LP, the tape runs half as fast, so the same length of tape takes twice as long to play or record, which saves on cassettes and is especially good for longer recordings.

Difference between vinyl and ordinary CD:

The first impression of vinyl is in the 20s and 30s Shanghai movies, black and white slightly scratched film starring the rich and wealthy people of the family of the Mr. and Ms., holding a beautiful glass of wine, or dance or sitting in an elegant room, the back of the speaker came from the back of the flower of the black phonograph curling in the style. Behind them comes the solid-colored sound of a trumpet-flower-style black record player curling up with the blues or the whispers of a popular starlet.

Vinyl is translucent, clear and open, with hidden imperfections, and what it transmits through your ears is a warm feeling very much like a real person breathing next to you, with a human touch, unlike digital, which is so cold.

Vinyl has recorded one of the most special and glorious periods in the history of music, but now, just a few companies continue to produce records for vinyl enthusiasts, and the rest, have long since ceased production. Because of the price and playback carrier limitations, the vinyl disk audience is very small, can not form a piece of separate market.
