Method of making homemade bean paste buns
Step 1: Put the yeast powder into a bowl, pour in a proper amount of water, stir well, and let it stand for 10 minute. The temperature of water should not exceed 40 degrees, otherwise it will affect the dough fermentation. Step 2: Mix flour, sugar and milk powder evenly in advance, then slowly pour yeast water into the flour and stir with chopsticks until there is no excess dry flour in the basin. Finally, knead into a smooth dough. Step 3: Cover with plastic wrap and leave it in a warm place for 40 minutes. Step 4: Ferment the dough to twice its size. Step 5: Take the dough out of the basin and knead it until the surface is smooth. Usually, the fermented dough is a little sticky, which is normal. When kneading dough, just put some dry flour on your hands and panels. Step 6: Divide the dough into small portions of uniform size. Step 7: Take a small dose and squash it. Then put a proper amount of bean paste in the middle. Step 8: Wrap the bean paste, then seal it and knead it downward, as shown in the figure, and a bean paste bag is ready. Step 9: Put cold water on the pot and put the wrapped bean paste bag into the pot to wake up for 20 minutes. Then turn on high fire, bring the water to a boil, and then turn to low heat for steaming 15 minutes. After steaming, stew for 5 minutes, then remove the lid and eat.
