Nofu is famous for its wavy fields of colorful flowers and lavender. It is known as the Provence of the East. The lavender-dominated flowers are also filled with a special scent that makes summer in Nofu almost equal to purple romance.

Hinode Park
Sunrise Park is the earliest lavender flower field in Japan. Every early summer, the park's hills are covered in purple.
