Travel Notes of Qingyuan: Looking for Yao Village to see terraced fields.

Two days before the National Day, when I was wondering where to play during the holiday, I happened to see a photo of the terraced fields of Oujia in Lianshan, basking in the little red book.

Golden wheat waves, continuous mountains, and a beautiful autumn mountain picture come to my mind. So, I immediately decided to choose the national day travel place here.

Next, I began to make a travel guide. According to the search, there is also a famous Millennium Yao village near the terraced fields, and the general itinerary of the trip is gradually clear: first look at the terraced fields and then go to Yao village. Or adjust the playback order according to the distance.

Only after further planning can we know that terraces and Yaozhai are particularly far from the railway station, and the traffic is very inconvenient due to the terrain. If you choose to drive by car, you have to go through a long mountain road, which is a great challenge to your driving skills.

National Day travel was originally for leisure and relaxation, and I didn't want to worry too much about traffic. Just when I was a little reluctant to return, a two-day tour of European terraces appeared on the search page. In the above itinerary, there happened to be Yaozhai and terraced fields that I wanted to visit.

But even so, I'm a little worried, because I've always liked freedom. I have always been contemptuous of traveling with a group. Although I have never participated in a tour group, I have learned a lot of negative comments about the mandatory consumption or invisible consumption of tour guides from friends and online reports.

But our destination this time is quite special, because the traffic is too inconvenient, and because of the busy work, there seems to be no more energy to plan how to book a hotel during the crowded National Day holiday. So in the end, after careful consideration, I chose a tour group that can provide "one-stop" service. We don't have to worry about transportation and accommodation.

After the itinerary is arranged, there are still two or three days before the holiday. During this period, Mr. Chen and I reported our holidays to our respective units, and the rest was looking forward to this long-lost unknown journey.

Seriously, the last time I traveled with Mr. Chen was on the National Day two years ago, when there was no epidemic, and we went to Guilin together. Secondly, the sudden arrival of the epidemic, planning the wedding, busy with work, and even did not go on a honeymoon after marriage. This is our first trip together since we got married.

Perhaps for this reason, I was particularly excited before I left. 65438 10 3 booked a group tour, and I was too excited to sleep the night before. This feeling is very similar to when you were a child, when adults asked you to take you out to play the next day. You were full of expectations from the day before.

654381at 8: 00 am on October 3, the tourist bus departed from Zhujiang New Town on time. The journey from Guangzhou to Qingyuan destination should be three and a half hours at the normal speed, but because of the traffic jam on National Day, I arrived at Yaozhai at one o'clock in the afternoon.

In this process, I also realized the biggest "pit" of traveling with a group. According to the itinerary seen on the tour group, our destination should be the most famous Millennium Yaozhai in Nangang, but on the tour bus, the tour guide said that we would not go to Millennium Yaozhai, but to the nearby Youling Yaozhai.

As far as fame and development are concerned, your Lingyao Village is not as famous as Millennium Yao Village. This is the first time I have heard this name. The first time I heard the news, I was a little angry. I wanted to ask the tour guide clearly, but I thought it might be the consistent style of tour groups. It might be futile to finish talking, so I gave up.

Then I searched the little red book for the raiders of Youling Yaozhai. When I saw many people say that compared with the Millennium Yaozhai, the Yaozhai in Youling is less commercialized and the Yaojia village is better preserved, I was relieved and thought it was a big bargain.

But when we really went to Yaozhai and sat down to eat, we found that the "Yaozhai" we visited was just a group of places dressed in Yao costumes and dedicated to serving tourists. Although some Miss Yao warmly came to propose a toast and introduced a lot of Yao culture, the buildings in the village and the clothes and costumes of the villagers were all dressed by Han people, and the atmosphere of ethnic minorities experienced here was too limited.

Later, I chatted with a local lady and realized that this is not the ancient village of Youling. The ancient village is still half an hour's drive from here. In other words, this is a service center dedicated to foreign tourists, a "Youling Yaozhai" dedicated to tourists.

Fortunately, I don't expect much from the tour group myself, and the biggest expectation of my trip is the terraced fields in Europe, so I can still accept the "stealing" of the travel agency.

Let nature take its course Although I didn't go to the most authentic oil village, I quickly adjusted my mood and walked in the village where I ate with Teacher Chen to maximize the experience of this trip.

Because I took part in this trip with a leisure mood, I didn't have much interest in the afternoon and morning trips. I just want to get to the hotel as soon as possible and have a rest.

Fortunately, the location of the hotel is relatively core, located in the center of Lianzhou, and it is convenient to go out shopping.

At four o'clock in the afternoon, I took out the travel tea set specially prepared when I went out, and brewed the black tea brought from home with the hot water at the front desk of the hotel. Traveling like life is the "realm" I have been pursuing. Going out, drinking afternoon tea in a strange environment and keeping your living habits will make people feel at ease.

At 7 o'clock in the evening, after dinner, attend a bonfire party. Like Yaozhai at noon, this bonfire party is also a performance for tourists. The location is still indoors, and a group of little brothers and sisters in national costumes are dancing national dances, as if to entertain us.

I'm not interested in this bonfire party, but I still can't bear to spoil the performer's fun and sit in the front row and watch it.

After the performance, I went up to take a photo with a young Yao elder sister. The little girl looks only ten to twenty years old, and her cheeks are red with fire. In the just-concluded performance, she played a bride of Yao nationality and showed people the traditional wedding customs of Yao nationality. I don't know if the little girl in front of me will stay here all the time to meet groups of tourists.

At eight o'clock in the evening, the arrangement of the tour group for one day has ended, and our free time has begun. Since most of the group are elderly people, at this time, they may all go back to the hotel to rest. But the "teenager" Mr. Chen and I started the "night action" to measure the city with our steps.

The advantage of living in the city is that you can reach the core area of the city in about 20 minutes' walk. Part of the road is a bridge along the river. People walk on the bridge deck, there are rivers and parks under the bridge, blowing sea breeze, looking at the night view of the city, giving people the illusion of living in this city for a long time.

When we walked to a shopping mall, there were many locals in KFC and Pizza Hut nearby. Because we were worried about the traffic jam on the way back the next day, we bought some food in the supermarket of the mall to eat on the way.

Get up at six o'clock the next day and start a day's trip. The first stop is the European terraced fields that I am most looking forward to during the whole trip. Fortunately, this scenic spot has not stepped on the pit. At 9 o'clock in the morning, I arrived at the terraced fields, and I still had time to take pictures and play all morning.

On the way to the terrace, I heard a local lady say that she would go to the terrace on the right hand side, because the one on the left hand side was not yellow, so after the group members of the same group dissolved, they all walked to the terrace on the left hand side at the suggestion of the tour guide, and only Mr. Chen and I walked in the opposite direction like two retrograde people.

Listen to the locals say it's true! The terrace we went to not only turned yellow completely, but also had a wider and better view. On the terrace, you can see the distant mountains opposite. Above the golden wheat waves of terraced fields and the distant mountains of navy blue, there is a blue sky. You can feel the love and gift of nature to this land without any filter.

As we came early, when we took photos, there were not many tourists running on the large terraced fields, which reminded me of watching the autumn harvest of adults in the village when I was a child.

In less than two hours, I harvested hundreds of photos with terraces. After seeing the terraces, I'm glad you came.

The whole trip ends at 4 pm. Because of the traffic jam on the way back, it took me more than three hours to get to Guangzhou until 12 o'clock in the evening. Although this trip is not perfect and regrettable, I am satisfied on the whole.

Because the destination on the journey is important, but what is more important is who to go with and the scenery and mood along the way. Life is the same, there are always unexpected times. Although we can't change others, we can adjust our mentality. No matter what happens, you can stop loss in time.

This time, I can also look at the matter of traveling with a group more objectively and understand its advantages and disadvantages more deeply. Perhaps many times, many things have no advantages or disadvantages, only which choice is more suitable for you at this moment.

Under the epidemic, the number of trips and opportunities are much less, but I still hope that if I can, I can have more opportunities to go out, experience strange environments and see my own smallness and the wonderful world. Let yourself be open-minded in small things and be more objective in big things. This is one of the meanings of traveling.
