Briefly describe the present situation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship.

. 1 Shortcomings of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities

"The job search situation is not optimistic. Have you considered starting your own business?" A survey of 40 graduating students by Chen Xuefang and others shows that 60% of them said they never thought about it, 30% said they had similar ideas, and 10% said they would take action when the time was right. Through this survey, we can see that the long-term exam-oriented education makes students have a weak sense of innovation and entrepreneurship, do not have the corresponding entrepreneurial quality, establish entrepreneurial confidence, and cause a passive employment situation. At present, in most colleges and universities, innovation and entrepreneurship education is still a marginal education, which has not been included in the talent training plan of various majors. The curriculum system is not perfect and the syllabus is not complete. Most of them are conducted in the form of several simple and unsystematic elective courses or lectures, so it is difficult for students to master a coherent and systematic context in unsystematic education and teaching. Faced with the severe employment situation, some colleges and universities believe that encouraging college students to start their own businesses through entrepreneurship education is an important channel to alleviate the employment pressure. They simply understand entrepreneurship education as an education to teach students to start a business, and their evaluation is based on the utility of the number of enterprises established, which makes entrepreneurship education stay at a superficial level. The reasons are inaccurate understanding of entrepreneurship education, lack of research and design of entrepreneurship goals, and misunderstanding of entrepreneurship-driven employment strategy. At present, the entrepreneurship education system is not perfect. Blind entrepreneurship leads to low success rate of entrepreneurship, but it increases employment pressure.

2.2 Problems in teachers' innovation and entrepreneurship education

Teachers are the concrete implementers of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and it is a subject that teachers need to discuss deeply what kind of innovation and entrepreneurship concept students should establish through innovation and entrepreneurship education. Teachers have a certain theoretical foundation of employment guidance and students' educational management ability, but the explanation of innovation and entrepreneurship knowledge only stays in books, and there are not many cases and practical experiences to share with students. In most colleges and universities, teachers from other disciplines provide entrepreneurship education to students. These teachers focus on their main subjects, lack of research on how to effectively carry out entrepreneurship education for students, and sometimes even teach just to meet the teaching task of setting up this subject in schools, thus failing to achieve higher teaching quality. The characteristics of innovation and entrepreneurship education require teachers to have not only rich theoretical knowledge, but also corresponding practical experience. At present, most college teachers have no practical experience in entrepreneurship and are not familiar with the operation process of enterprises, so they belong to the typical "academic school". For innovation and entrepreneurship education, most teachers just run the market, talk about business, talk about operation management, capital flow and so on. Everything is an armchair strategist and has no practical feasibility.

2.3 Colleges and universities did not create a good entrepreneurial environment.

There are many problems in college students' entrepreneurship, such as lack of funds, short-lived projects, blank experience and insufficient ability. Entrepreneurial projects have short life cycle and small scale, which can't help the market test and have low success rate. How to solve the shortage of project funds, fill the gap in experience and improve the ability has become an urgent task for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship education. Incubation site has become a bottleneck restricting the development of entrepreneurship practice teaching in colleges and universities in China. Business incubator is an important place to simulate business. However, due to the limitation of funds, conditions and attention, many schools fail to provide incubators or the venues are very limited, which hinders the development of some students' entrepreneurial practice. According to their own development, some colleges and universities offer practical training programs for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship, and organize students to participate in various innovation and entrepreneurship competitions. However, there is often a phenomenon of "doing projects for projects and competing for projects for competitions". Some undergraduate colleges have innovative and entrepreneurial practice platforms such as university science parks and pioneer parks. However, how to make full use of these platforms, how to transform the theoretical knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship classes into practical practice, and how to let students really grasp the essence of entrepreneurship and get close contact with the entrepreneurial process are great challenges faced by colleges and universities.
