Introduction of Xuzhou Bangzi Opera
Xuzhou Bangzi is one of the traditional Chinese dramas in Xuzhou, Jiangsu. Because jujube bangzi is a percussion instrument, the rhythm of the tune is conducted by a pair of drums and bangzi, so it is named after the local people, also known as "drama". Spread in northern Jiangsu for three or four hundred years, it is one of the representative Han operas with distinctive local characteristics in Jiangsu Province.
