Cadaver care for death and dying
Dying is terminally ill. It is the final stage of life and refers to a patient's condition that has intensified and worsened after receiving curative or palliative care, with signs that life is coming to an end.
Death is the permanent cessation of an individual's vital activities and metabolism. The traditional concept of death is the cessation of cardiopulmonary function. Brain death is defined as the irreversible cessation of the functional activity of the whole brain including the cerebrum, midbrain, cerebellum and brainstem.
