What is the cloth of kimono?
In Japan, the fabric of kimono is specially designed and woven, which is a pure silk fabric with a width of 30 ~ 40 cm.
Brocade can be used as a substitute fabric here. If the requirements for kimono are not formal, printed chemical fiber fabrics can also be used instead.
My studio makes kimonos for actors, all made of chemical fiber fabrics.
