The difference between oem and odm

ODM: commonly known as "labeling", is the factory's products, other people's brands; OEM: OEM, on behalf of the production, other people's technology and brand, the factory only production.

OEM is from design to production are completed by the production side, in the product molding after the branding party to buy away. Whether or not the producer can produce the same product for a third party depends on whether or not the licensee buys out the design.

ODM, on the other hand, depends on whether the brand company has bought out the copyright of the product. If not, the manufacturer has the right to organize its own production, as long as there is no corporate company design identity.
