Steps:

1. Choose Loacl→Partition→To Image to back up your hard disk partition as an image file with a ".gho" extension.

6. Now you can watch the progress bar go slowly. The speed of the backup has a lot to do with memory. I have to memory 64M when the transfer rate is 40M per minute. After upgrading to 128M, the transfer rate is 70M per minute, which saves a lot of time.

7. After the backup is complete, you can exit Ghost

Recover the image file: (the original hard disk partition size must not be changed)

1. Select Local → Partition → From age, from the image file to restore the system.

2. Select the source partition of the image file to be restored, click ok

3. Prompted to determine whether to restore, of course, YES

Restoration is complete, prompted you to restart the computer, enter, and you backup before the same.

Restore your system with a Ghost backup, 95% of the time than reinstalling, and, moreover, you don't have to readjust your desktop, menus, and other personal settings, isn't that convenient. If you then have Ghost Explorer (Clone Ghost Manager) you can also use him to open the GHO image file, just like using winzip, to extract and restore a file in the GHO image individually.
