Canola Oil Traditional Practice

In terms of food, due to food safety issues, many people are increasingly respecting the traditional and handmade. The practice of using raw rapeseed to press rapeseed oil in traditional workshops is becoming popular again in some counties and towns. During the holidays, I witnessed the process of freshly pressed rapeseed oil in traditional handmade workshops, and I will introduce the process to you below.

Rapeseed

Operation

01

Prepare a number of rapeseed, rapeseed should be dried.

02

Pour the raw rapeseed into the funnel, run through the machine to remove the rapeseed shells, dust and so on in the rapeseed, then the clean rapeseed comes out from the other side. The machine acts as a dust remover.

03

The clean canola seeds are poured into the iron hopper shown in the picture, and after being pressed by the machine, the foaming canola oil enters the iron disk.

04

The iron disk is used to drain the residue. When the foaming rapeseed oil enters the iron disk, it is filtered and the rapeseed oil with less dregs is put into the drum through the faucet.

05

On the other side, when the rapeseed is pressed, the oil residue comes out from the other side. The oil residue can be used as organic fertilizer.

06

The pressed rapeseed oil is cooled down a little, and then it enters the dregs separator again, and after being separated by the machine, the pure rapeseed oil is officially formed.

07

Pour the rapeseed oil into the oil bottle, the bottle cap can not be closed immediately, because the oil is hot at this time, need to cool down for a night, before the bottle cap.
