Li Hongwei is one of the original "Seven Children of Yonghe" in Yonghe Bookstore. Yonghe Bookstore has been a bit quiet in recent years, but many people still remember its glory and glory. For me, I miss the atmosphere of sincere communication at the beginning of the book club-we used to be so simple, so passionate, so enthusiastic about the charm of calligraphy.

At that time, we spent a lot of time copying the classics of past dynasties-a weekly party, rain or shine, tirelessly studying a topic from top to bottom. Li Hongwei was the most "enthusiastic" person at that time, and also the most diligent person. He loves to write about Wang Duocao, and every time he meets and communicates, he will come up with a lot of Wang Duocao; When he writes about Dong Qichang, the whole article is often covered with dozens of meters of long scrolls, and the breeze blows on his face. Its exquisite brushwork and ancient rhyme connotation often amaze us.

At that time, we were still young, and we were very enthusiastic about submitting and exhibiting. Before each submission, Hongwei will definitely call us and let us help him make suggestions and finalize it. And we always advise him not to vote-on the one hand, his handwriting is too traditional and pays too much attention to the expression of details. Under the modern exhibition mechanism of pursuing the great effect of the exhibition hall, I am afraid it is difficult to meet Bole; On the other hand, under the unequal treaty of "losing and not retreating", it is really "ulterior motives" to make such a wonderful work.

In 2008, stimulated by a group of "big coffees" such as Cui, Wang Xiangbei and Wang Wei in Yonghe Bookstore, I couldn't sit still. He asked for leave from the unit leader and went to the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute for further study. One year's professional study has greatly improved Li Hongwei's calligraphy concept and accomplishment. Not only the forms of calligraphy are diverse, but also books, paintings and seals are spread out in an all-round way, which shows that the understanding of art theory is more profound and there is a sense of "connection". I once watched him write after he came back, and I felt that the biggest change was that he was angry and dared to write, which was reasonable and interesting. I think this is the confidence of the book. Since ancient times, writers have been like people, believing it!

For calligraphy, Li Hongwei has been walking on the ancient road with awe of classics. Maybe he is not in a hurry to concise his own style, but I think this calm and easy-to-put style is exactly what I like.

Because he graduated from a professional art college, he has a foundation in painting. Lao Wei is also a member of Yonghe Bookstore, perhaps because of this. Although he is nominally Li Hongwei's teacher, he is actually his teacher and friend. Li Hongwei goes to Beijing to attend face-to-face lectures every once in a while, and sometimes sleeps in Lao Wei's studio at night and communicates all night. Lao Wei even showed and painstakingly changed the project without reservation, which benefited him a lot. After graduating from Lao Wei Studio, Li Hongwei consulted Mr. Yang Guoping, a famous Hunan painter. If Lao Wei's paintings reflect the magnificent mountains and rivers in the north, then Mr. Yang Guoping's mountains and rivers more reflect the complex state of Hunan and Chu culture. Teacher Yang pays attention to the connection between art and life. He often takes Li Hongwei to sketch, watch exhibitions and read paintings, and "takes Wan Li Road", which makes Li Hongwei feel more deeply about landscape painting.

Asking more teachers for help has improved Li Hongwei's vision of learning painting. He no longer painted the remnants of mountains and waters patched together with the old symbols of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but often used hearty four-foot or eight-foot banners to change the composition from ethereal to dense. In his landscape paintings, the trees are shaped by the situation, the mountains are undulating and full of vitality, and the picture has a sense of fluency that blends mountains and rivers. Nowadays, watching him paint, he pays great attention to the management of the big pattern. In casual dyeing, it is not surprising that a fascinating and unpredictable realm of ink and wash emerges from the paper.

All previous exhibitions in Yonghe Bookstore, from panels and posters to badges hung by everyone, were designed by Li Hongwei. At first, it was just to save the exhibition cost, but in the end, the design creativity and display effect were excellent, and the audience received rave reviews. Later, this kind of thing had to be handed over to him. In addition, in the early days of the Internet in the late 1990s, we were all keen to take photos of our works and send them online to earn eyeballs. Everyone has mastered the Photoshop photo processing processes such as taking photos, cutting, framing, changing the background, sharpening, etc., all of which come from his teaching.

Yonghe Bookstore once recorded a CD recording everyone's writing. At that time, Li Hongwei volunteered to direct, film and edit. We are sweating, and he is sweating, carrying a heavy camera, leaning up or down, looking for angles everywhere and grabbing close-ups. When the CD was finally produced and played, we were all very excited, because in the camera, everyone was creating with the demeanor of a master.

At the invitation of Hunan Fine Arts Publishing House, Li Hongwei has compiled a series of books, such as Spring Festival couplets of Ci Collection and Blueprints of Classic Inscriptions of Ci Collection. It seems easy to collect words, but it is necessary to extract words from a vast number of calligraphy posts, collect Spring Festival couplets, Tang poems and other contents, and ensure the harmony of rules and regulations, which will truly fully test his calligraphy level and block processing ability. It is said that these two series of books have been reprinted many times after publication, which has become a necessary choice for calligraphers to create.

Of course, what I admire most is that when he entered the age of no doubt, he trained a female "fan" into a student and finally became a like-minded lover. Now husband and wife write together, draw together, attend classes with students together, and go to church to do good deeds together. I envy his happiness in adding fragrance to tea, and I envy his quiet and full life. In recent years, his art of painting and calligraphy has made great progress, which truly reflects his living state-passion in peace and continuous progress in passion.
