What is a virus?
A virus is a tiny creature that can only be seen under an electron microscope. Viral diseases often occur under high temperature and drought conditions. Mainly by means of aphids, leafhoppers, stink bugs and other insects in contact with plant juice. The virus mainly overwinters in weeds, tubers (such as potatoes and sweet potatoes), seeds and insects. In dry years, aphids reproduce quickly and virus diseases occur seriously.
