Hades Canyon Hard Disk Interface Standard
The original intention of IDE actually refers to the hard disk drive that integrates the controller and the disk body. We often talk about IDE interface, also called ATA interface. At present, most of the hard disks used in PC are IDE-compatible. Just connect them with the motherboard or interface card with a wire.
Integrating the disk body with the controller reduces the number and length of cables in the hard disk interface, enhances the reliability of data transmission, and makes the hard disk easier to manufacture, because manufacturers no longer need to worry about whether their hard disks are compatible with controllers produced by other manufacturers, and users are more convenient to install.
