Is there a difference between a high-definition set-top box of a TV station and an ordinary set-top box?
Ordinary "cable digital TV set-top box" is a set-top box with clear indicators. The reception is DVD effect and the display mode is 4:3.
The high-definition set-top box can not only receive the display standard-definition signal (which is the same as the standard-definition signal when displayed), but also receive the high-definition TV program signal. The display mode is 16:9.
This kind of high-definition TV programs are all paid programs except the channels given away, in other words: high-definition programs belong to the business growth point of cable TV;
Note that HD set-top boxes also have other channels that are not available in general set-top boxes, such as Guangzhou Cable and some non-standard programs, such as on-demand channels (note that this on-demand channel is actually a non-standard channel, which is a real-time interactive on-demand song of a non-radio station).
In fact, in addition to cable TV, there are terrestrial digital high-definition reception (free), satellite high-definition set-top boxes, and network TV set-top boxes with sufficient bandwidth.
