Labor can be divided into which two parts

Labor can be divided into two parts: mental labor and physical labor.

1, mental labor (mentallabour), as opposed to physical labor. Labor that is mainly consumed by brain power. Its characteristics lie in the production of workers in the use of intelligence, scientific and cultural knowledge and production skills, so also known as intellectual labor. It is complex labor of high quality. In labor, physical strength is governed by mental strength, and mental strength is based on physical strength, and labor is a combination of the two. Physical and intellectual are two different aspects of labor quality. Brain labor is mainly reflected in the scientific and cultural knowledge, production skills and experience of workers. Intelligence has unlimited breadth and creativity, with great capacity and obvious historical inheritance and accumulation. Brain labor, as a kind of productive labor, has taken place at a very early stage. However, when social production was small-scale production based on manual labor, when the production process remained subordinate to the direct skill of the laborer, and when science did not develop into an independent force separate from labor, there was no clear distinction between mental and manual labor.

2, as opposed to mental labor and physical labor. Physical labor is the labor of workers with the motor system as the main organ of movement. Brain labor is the labor of the brain nervous system as the main organ of labor. Physiological labor is the labor of workers with other physiological organs other than the motor system and the nervous system of the brain as the main organ of movement. The labor of farmers and workers, who mainly produce the means of subsistence and production, belongs to manual labor. Our country has long equated labor with physical labor.
