Several stages of China's modern cultural development.

Looking at the development track of modern China culture, it can be divided into three stages: ① the initial stage after the Opium War; ② From the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom to the founding of 1949 New China, in the context of "peril", it had to break away from the old tradition and accept the new cultural factors of industrial civilization that accompanied the invasion; (3) the stage of reviving China's cultural tradition and seeking return. Since the middle and late of this century, while industrial civilization has made brilliant achievements, its inherent limitations have become more and more prominent, and the accumulated problems are converging into a comprehensive and overall crisis. Looking forward to the present can be an opportunity to rediscover traditional values, a driving force to realize the new awakening of China people, and a contribution to the modern reconstruction of China culture and the construction of human spiritual home in the future.
