Characteristics of traditional Guangdong fishermen

Grouper is a fierce carnivorous fish, which mainly preys on benthic crustaceans, various small fish and unexpected cephalopods. It likes to be calm and afraid of waves, warm and cold at first sight, clear and turbid. It can often be seen on the seabed at a depth of 10- 15 meters, especially in caves and coral areas. Generally, there are no groups, and the upper stagnant water layer will fluctuate with the change of water temperature. Grouper likes to live in rocks, gravel and coral reefs near coastal islands. It is mainly distributed in water depth 10-30m in summer and 2-3m in midsummer. In autumn and winter, when the water temperature drops, it will swim to a water depth of 40-80m.
